I am glad its christmas!

Because the panthers stink and are a underacheivinng team if I ever saw one. I am not goin to talk too much about them because they dont deserve it. The D stinks and we have no O line and that is really enough said. I will just give you the Big Bird Board's top Ten.

1- Chargers LT is the man period and the chargers are the team to beat this year.
2- Colts They are still getting the job done ,but not as good as the chargers.
3-Ravens Those Lb's and that D is just crazy like they have always been.
4- Pats Those Pats have a great coach and a sure fire sytem thats been working for a while now.
5- Bears The bears are a good and deserve to be in the playoffs, but they are not the best team in football and they have not played anybody. They allowed 30 points from the bucs last week and that says alot about their team, but not in a good way.
6- Saints They got more weapons than the middle east. The Texans really sucked in the draft after passing on Bush. This team has a really good O game and should be the team to beat out of the NFC this year.
7-Cowboys They are team USA or was that last decade. Romo and TO = good team.
8-Seahawks There really is no other team that is worthy of a top ten bid. It should be the top 8.
9-Bengals ?
10- Jags ?

Dajahvoodoo!!!!!

You have seen this before right? Its Shaun lasts year leading rusher. From the looks of things on the NFC side the playoff picture is close to the same as last year without the slumping BUCs of course. Seattle was in there last year and they are on top again this year but still not in the top 3 in nfc. The bears were in last year and they are on top aswell. Both of them have a easy ass schedule's and get their butts handed to them in the playoffs most of the time. I believe the bears are the best team in the NFC so far this year for sure. They have the best lock down D around. I predict they will lose vs the Pats this Thanksgiving weekend. I want to see them play a real team and dont use that sorry Giants win for a example. The giants dont know if there coming are going. Know thats 2 of the top three and from this site you can guess who is the 3rd team. Check the right side of the post. The panthers again. They are not better than the bears right now but, they have the tools to beat them in the playoffs. If they play like they did against a power O game like STL and shut them out, what is Seattle or the Bears going to do vs them. The Bears have good D but they dont have a probowl QB and they dont have two of the games best receiving cores, but they do have have better RB's than the panthers. This is going to be a close game this year in the playoffs and I will tell you straight up the NFC tittle game will be the Panthers vs the Bears again. They way I see it the running game dont mean jack in the playoffs with those two power D's going at each other. This game will come down to a feild goal or a last second gaming winning drive. With that said the edge would go to the panthers. Jake is known for his comeback drives and you cant get more clutch than John Kasey kicking the ball. Sorry (bear down). I said it all along if the panthers make the playoffs they are the team to beat, not the bears. The bears are dam good and they could steal one ,but the edge is still the panthers. The panthers have played a tough, tough schedule and should help them down the road unlike the bears. Its like this if you play pro teams the whole year and then you play a team that has played college teams all year, who would you like to win vs each other........enough said
lets move on to the BIG BIRD BOARD!!!
1. chargers-thats right I said it they have a Joe Motanta type qb in Rivers and the D looks great, oh yeah they also have LT.They have beaten some good teams this year and deserve the #1 spot.
2. colts- they still are very good and will always be good with Manning with there qb, but dont look as complete as the chargers. The chargers are blowing teams away and that lose to Dallas said alot were the colts are.
3. bears- they are still very good, but have not impressed me with the wins over the cards,Mia,jets and the giants. We will see how good they are vs the pats witch is there only big game of the year.
4-pats-I have talked about comeback qb's before lets see Brady do his touch vs the bears this weekend.
5-ravens-I got to give it to the guys they are getting it done and its about time to give the real legend D some props.
6-cowboys- I hate them with all my might, but they have the tools to get it done, and the fact that romo beat the colts says it all.
7-Panthers- They still have great D when they show up and if they get there running game going(246 rushing yards last week) they will be tough in the playoofs to stop.
8-jags-They have to be next some how but those reciever's they have stink.
9- KC-With the D coming around and LJ running the shit out of the ball, they will edge out a playoff spot I believe.
10-Seahawks- They have Shaun coming back and Matt coming back they should do just fine vs there college football NFC west divsion.
I know what you guy's are all ready thinking were is those Giants, well I am wondering the same thing. The have more 10 guys out in keys spots and the coach is back to his losing ways it seems like. Everbody have a wonderful thanksgiving and god bless!!!!

This one for Dad and mom,Gpa !!!

Yeah I gave a shout out to my loving mom and dad on this one and it is well desevered. This sunday will be there 25 wedding Anv. They have been there for me in every way I could think of, and I hope my days with my loving wife are as good as there days were and are now. My dad has done everything in his power to bring me up in this tough world and I have to tell him and everbody else that he is the main man and will always be. My mom has the biggest hart of anyone I have every known and she is my best friend aswell. There is nothing I could not tell her or dad. I have to give her some credit she put up with my (bs) for a long time and my hats off to her. I love both of you very much and may the next 25 years be even better than the first. Lets talk about the biggest STL fan in the whole wide world, my grandpa...aka...gpa. He is the reason I love STL baseball and I hope they will win it this year for him. He is also one of my best friends and I love to hang out with him and jam and my harp or play golf. He gave me a harmonica 5 months ago and I love it and can not get enough of it. He can play anything by ear, he is the main on the harp and a huge sports fan. He calls me and we talk sports on all kinds of sports like college basketball,MLB,and NFL.... etc. He is one of a kind and loved by many and I hope the cards pull this one out for my Gpa. It is 2-1 STL as of today with Suppon pitching in game 4 and I believe this will be the year of the redbird says the jaybird.

Lets move on to the grumbling big bird board!!!!

1. Colts: untill proven other wise they are the team to beat and they play a few hard nose teams.
2. Bears: Speaking of playing hardnose teams, this is why they dropped to #2. They let a rookie Qb with no line score on their powerhouse D and that said something. They also have not played a team with a winning record all year long and the rest of the season they play teams that dont have a winning record.
3.Chargers: they have a future (qb) that will be montanta like and have a hall of fame( rb) that will break records. Oh yeah they also have Gates...enough said.
4.Broncos: there D and running stlye will put them in the playoffs and thats all you need to know.
5. Pats: they have a weak road ahead of them aswell, but they should be in every game with their hall of fame coach and weak divsion.
6. Giants: They play tough teams and they got some weapons to use. Their D is still getting the job done with there age, but what got me is who they have beaten.
7.Panthers: They are going to have a nasty win loss record, but if they can make it in the playoffs they have a team that could go all the way.
8.Saints: I like bush and brees and they are no joke, this team is for real, but if they make it to the playoffs their D is iffy and unproven. They are still not a complete team and they are winning off of emotion. That can only last for so long.
9.ATL: I got to putt someone here, but running QB's dont last long or ever win the big one. I like that D though.
10.Philly: Not sure what to think about this team. They dont have alot of weapons but Mcnabb is the 3rd best Qb in the game.

October fest is here, and a new look in the NFL to cheer!

I just put my NFL rankings up last week, but I saw alot of changes that needed to be done. Last week showed me alot about who is who and what they are going to do.

1. Bears They have a very easy road ahead of them and they are good, should stay 1 or2 all year.

2.Colts The Colts are still the team to beat this year.

3. Chargers Have you seen Merriman play ,the D is on all cylinders.

4. Philly Philly is like a red neck, they gett er' done!! some how

6. ATL They are still a good team and it will show at the end of the year if Vicks running stlye holds up.

7. Broncos Wow what a D and bailey just flexed his guns vs the ravens last game. They will be in it.

8. Seattle Some how they have good run D and their QB is still under rated. Good game next week vs the Rams.

9. Panthers We will see how good they are vs the ravens next week. They are slowing but surly gettin better.

10. Jags What can I say they got some weapons on the O side and have a lock down D.

Yes that leaves out the Stl, Saints, Cowboys, Pitt, Ravens, Giants and they all have something to prove next week.

Top 10 on the D

1. Bears
2. Colts
3. Ravens
4. Broncos
5. Chargers
6. Philly
7. Jags
8.ATL
9. Pitt
10 Panthers

Top 10 on O

1. Colts
2. Chargers
3. STL
4. Panthers
5. ATL
6. Seattle
7. Giants
8.NO
9. Dallas
10. Jags

Who's the big dog so far!!!!

I will rate the top ten teams thats I believe will be at the end and fighting for the big one.

1. Indy : This team has one of the best coaches in the NFL called Manning. You can not plan for him you just have to out play them. Thats why they are hard to beat every year. He has good D and weapons to use and have won more games than anyone in the regular season.

2. Bears: Thats right I said it!! This team beside maybe the panthers and Ravens have a D so solid that a TD might get you a victory in the past maybe. They have Grossman and he does what they have missed on the O side, he manages games. They also have a great O line with great running backs to use and thats what they missed last year which is O. This is close to a complete team and will be in the playoff's for sure.

3. Ravens: They look as good as any team and they are 4-0 so far. The D is like there D has been when they won the super bowl and thats scary. Mcnair has brought life to this team and they seem to have a new way of doing things on the O side. What ever mojo they got going they need to keep doing it, because this team is for real.

4. Cinn: They have okay D and more weapons than the U.S.S.R. I cant see a reason to put anyone else here at this point.

5. Dallas: Hey I dont like them aswell, but they have allowed 48 points so far and thats pretty low. They have a good coach and T.O. and they are pretty complete with Jones running the ball and a solid O line. I like them better than Philly this year.

6. ATL: If Vick can do what he did vs the panthers they will be hard to stop. They have maybe the second best front four in the game and if Vick hooks up with crumpler all year they should be in the playoff's.

7. Philly: I dont know how they get it done, because I see alot of holes on the O side, and I am not a fan of Westbrook running the ball. They do however get the job done most of the time with Mcnabb and company.

8. Pats: They should be atleast number 2 or 4 on this board, but I dont think they have alot of weapons on the O side. I like there young RB, but he is a rookie. They still have Brady witch is the second best QB in the game and a very good head coach. I will atleast put them at #8 on this board but they should move up fast if they win a few more times.

9. Panthers: There not going to have a good record anyways, but this is a very scary team when clicking on all cylinders. Smith is the best WR in the game as of last year and The D has the best front four in the game in rucker, pepppers, kemo, jenkins and lewis. They have K Johnson and he should take some pressure off of Jake. If they make it to the playoff's whatch out and let it be known you heard it from the grumbling bird him self.

10. Jaguars: They have a star QB and some okay receivers and they should do some damage this year. They also have a aggresive D that likes to get alot of sacks and int's. They might be around playoff time if they stay in tune. Their divsion sucks ,so they should win it out right.

Lets rate the top teams on the D side and the top teams on the O side now!

D side:

1. Bears
2. Ravens
3. Indy
4. Dallas
5. Jags
6.Panthers
7. ATL
8. Pitt
9.Philly
10. Pats

O side:

1. Indy
2. Cin
3.CHARGERS
4. Panthers
5. Dallas
6. ATL
7.SEATTLE
8.stl
9.Washington
10. pats

On a final note the chargers should be around 11 on D or so and as far the top ten O side thats was really hard to judge. I think with all the weapons the panthers have they should be #4 on the list. The panthers passing game is right up there and a little better than the cowboys and Atl. I think at the end of the year the top four teams will be Indy,Ravens,Panthers and bears. I belive the bears will take out Dallas and the panthers should beat seattle this year. I think the panthers will match the D if they play the bears, but like last year our O is way better than the bears and it will show. In the AfC I like Indy beating the Pats finally, and the Ravens shutting down Cin. to make it vs the Colts in the AFC tittle game. The colts will win because you cant prepare for manning and it will show this year aswell. The colts will face the panthers in the superbowl and Smith is going to eat up the colts. I think the score will be 28 vs 24 the panthers to win it all. If the panthers some how make it to the playoff's that team is built for the playoff's and their hard shedule will help them beat the colts.

panther pride!!

I still think the panthers should win the superbowl this year if they make the playoff's. The panthers were picked by alot of sports writer's in the beginning of the season to win it all. They have lost the first two games of the season and I still think they can win the big one. They were picked at the beginning of the season ,because they have a complete team. They are overall complete at every postion. They thought they would win mainly because we have good D and and some weapons to use on the O side. We started out 0-2 and our LT was out for the season and Steve Smith was also injured with his hammy problem. I still think we are going to win it all because we have a hard nose shcedule ahead of us. I believe our record will stink this year with all our hard games ahead of us. The panthers remind me of the Pitt team that won it all last season. The Pitt team had a very hard scedule and made it into a wild card spot last year and went all the way. I believe they went all the way because of the fact that they played everybody and there bothers last year, they faced every tough team in the regular season and when they got in the playoff's they kind have allready seen and faced every thing from alot of good teams. I believe the panthers will do the same thing this year. I dont care what anybody has to say about the panthers they are in the toughest divsion in the league. The saints are 3-0 at this point with ATL doing there thing and we have the defending NFC south winner at the bottem. The panthers also play the hardest divison in the AFC. They play the Bengals,Ravens, browns and the defending superbowl champs the steelers. The panthers have a beast of a schedule and if they make it threw the gaunlet, they have the team that can win it all. They lost last year in the playoffs because Seattle ran all over them and were just out gunned. This year is not like last year, we brought in Kemo a big DT from the Raven and revamped our D line and our O line by bringing in Justin Hartwig at center. They wont run all over us this year, thats for sure. We also brought in K. Johnson to go aside Smith and that was much needed. Last year in the playoff's smith was not double team, not trippled team but he had 4 guys covering his butt, and no one else to throw too on the other side. We started out slow this season, but it has been that way since coach Fox has gotten here. Fox always starts out slow and then we get better as the season goes along. I will tell you why Fox starts slow and why he is one of the best coaches in football. He learns and he adapts to his envriment. If something is not working ,he does his homework and prepares like non other. I will give you a qiuck example of this. This monday night the Siants beat ATL 23-3. I know were better than the saints but we lost 26-3 in home opener game vs the falcons. The saints did there homework and found away to stop vick. They adapted and overcame vick and company. Fox gets better because he can plan the games better when he see's what needs to be fixed. You cant do that with the first game of the season. The second games we beat ourselfs and just about lost the 3rd game. We will get better as the season goes on. The panthers have to play NO,browns,Ravens in the next 3 games. We must win all 3 of those games, and if we do we have a good chance of making the playoff's. That would put us at 4-2 going into the heart of the brutal schedule. We then will face STL,CIN,PITT,ATL,BUCS,NO,Giants,Dallas,Redskins,Philly and not in that order. That is a dog fight of a shcedule and if we get past that there is only one team out there thats not a power house that we have not faced and that is INDY and we should see them in the superbowl if we make it that far. We should go around 9-7or 10-6 this year and if Smith stays healthy we will be the team to beat this year. He is the best WR in the game as of last year and will be hard for anyone to stop.

The bell has wrung!!!

I just got into stockcar racing and my very good friend Matt Bell is racing go carts this weekend and he has done pretty well for his self. He is getting married soon as has a new house to live in. Ole Matt is doing pretty well and I am very glad for him. I think he has found his way because he is kicking major but in the go cart feild. He races in light stock and heavy stock I believe. They have points just like the real guys do and most of the big boys that race every sunday has started out in the the same boat as Bell. He is first in light stock and and 2nd in medium or heavy stock I am not sure. Either way he is kicking the pants off of the other drivers. Matt Bell is true sports guy like my self, and I admire his passion of sports. Like my self he has the edge to win race's because he is so detremined to win and be better. I played football and baseball with Matt and he was great in all of those sports. He was under sized at just about all sports but he still held his own and did pretty good at most sports. He has taking this way of thinking and put this on the track, and he has smoked everyone because he cant be beat and he wont be beat. The one thing I have learned about Bell was that he grew up around moter's and fixing them up, so he has great knowledge of moters. You take someone with great Knowledge of a certain thing and add a sports freek like bell to the mix, then you have your hands full my friend and I think the people in the racing feild are starting understand that now aswell. Good luck Matt in you chase for money!! The bell has finaly wrung and everybody at the track has heard it!!!!

I have" heard "enough

Every since espn radio has taken krunchtime off the air and made a new show which is called drive time, I been having to listen to the "heard" on the 10' o'clock show because drivetime moved to 4:00pm. Drivetime is alright, but it is not close to what Krunchtime was, but the "heard" is on at 10am and there is nothing else on the radio, so I listen everyday to this punk. He is so one sided and close minded it makes me sick. He was swearing up and down that he is not closeminded he just has standards. He had a lot of people calling him today and telling him that he was close minded, and I know it got to him because so many people were calling and he said he was not closeminded on the air about twenty minutes later,so it was still on his mind. He tries to debate the Yankees all the time about how good they are. He is the biggest yankee homer,I thought pro's were to be not onesided. Most pro's on the radio air like Mike and Mike or Dan does not have a one sided view on things, they chang it up. Colon keeps going on and on about the same topic over and over again. You cant talk to the guy because when you do make since and back it up , Colon will start saying funny voices and then he starts talking louder. He talks about standards all the time, but then he goes on acts like a child would with his not so funny jokes. The other guys I listen to will touch on other topics in other sports, but not the"terd" no,all he talks is college football and those dam Yankees. The yanks they deserve credit on some things, but since a lot of people listen to espn's show (the Heard)then at least talk about another team or sport. That is also another example of his close minded self. I liked Tony Cornheiser he was the man, he told it like it was and was not a loud mouth one sided, close minded, hypocritical, homer, dumb, repetitive fool that's speak on espn. I wish he could read this on air and I could call up and talk with this jerk, I would tell him like it really is.

grumbling gripes from the nest!!

I hope someone from ESPN reads this because thier site sucks a big one. I hate thier site so bad, I cant stand it. They do have good fantsy baseball I will give you that much. Let me ask you this were do you go to get your sports info at? It can't be at ESPN thats for sure! They are the biggest bunch of crap I have ever seen. They call ther self the world wide leader in sports. So you then click on a article to read, and what do you find, that dam ESPN insider that you have to pay for every month. I dont know about you, but I am not paying for that piece of dung when it will take me two more seconds to go to another site and get the same info that they have. They get thier stuff, some of that stuff from the local papers, like Charlotte observer,NY times. All you have to do is put those sites on your fav's and just click on them to look at them, then you have your own insider info for free. They have the same info that ESPN Insider has. If I want input I sure as hell dont click on ESPN's site. I like the show's on TV, but paying for inside scoops, which can be on any sports site these days is just unreal and bullshit. I go to Cbs sportsline or fox sports for info atleast I dont have to pay for info. Its not like its life or death and they are trying to sell good info that nobody else has. Come on everybody has most of all the same info Insider has. So why pay for that piece of crap of a web site.

birds news on those broke back cards

King Albert out and everybody is crying for a extra abat in the lineup. We did not make any kind of splash this offseason, not evan with Jaun E. at left feild. We have bigger problems next year in that we will lose Mulder, Jason, Suppon,Ponson, Edmonds maybe. Thats too much cash to give out for the low budget cards. Hey I am a tight wad aswell and I like saving money too. Walt has done a great job so far he always pulls a rabbit out of his hat at the end of the year. I really think we will trade one of our pitcher's. Know the signing Edmonds back I dont now about. I would love to sign him for a deal, but not a big one. I think he will be a life time cardinal and sign for 3 more years. He is only 34 and player's can produce at that age. He wont be the 40 homer edmonds, but he can hit 25 or more every year, plus he is a lefty thats plays CF and he has a crap load of gold gloves. This is why he should get about half of what he is getting paid now or less for a contract about the 3 or more years. What about Rolen this guy is producing some much needed power for this team. Juan E has done better and I think he will put up Reggie Sanders numbers. Duncan is going to be a power threat in the future, I hope we keep this young kid. Reyes and Waignwright should be in the rotation next year and our rotation next year should be fine if we have a liget #2 starter in the rotation to go behide Carp. Jeff M has 8 wins this already I hope we sign him back for a reasonable amount of money. He would be a great #3 starter I believe. What about C.Wilson from PiTT? This would be pretty good trade if we dont trade Reyes, Wainwright. He is 29 and really still unproven so we should not have to pay that much for him in a trade. I think he has great upside if he played more. Maybe the cards will be fine this year, I sure hope so. I believe they will go to the playoff's with this club, but they wont win it all without some more help.

nothing could be finer than to be a sports team in CAROLINA

As of today the canes of Carolina have a great chance of winning the cup in hockey. I know the yankees up north are hating the fact that a redneck team from down south is kicking thier ass. Thier hockey is what basketball is to Carolina. Just think if we win the cup and the panthers win the superbowl in the same year, that would be huge for our state. O yeah and the year before UNC won a tittle aswell. I have been to 4 countries and a lot of places for my age, and the best state is North Carolina in my thoughts. We have MJ and to make a long story short we have more that 100 great pro's that have played college here or was born here. There is no other state better than us in basketball period. We have UNC,State,WF and Duke. I like the bobcats aswell to do good in the future with there young core in Okafor,May, Felton,Wallace and they have the 3 pick in the NBA draft coming up. This is a team on the rise I assure you. We also just got the nacecar hall of fame here to make things a little better. We also rule in nacecar as it started here in the back woods of Carolina. This sport is up and coming and has more fan base than any other sport on record in the US of course. Lets refresh what I am talking about, so basically we are the Best in Basketball and Nacecar hands down compared to the rest of the country. We also are very close in football and really the only sport left to talk about is baseball, but I will take 2 out of 5 in all major sports, and 3 out of5 this year. I am not going to list all the guys that have came out of the state of Carolina, but if you have time look up the numbers and I bet you will be surprised at the amount of people that were born and have gone of to do great things not including sports. Evan the small town of Wilmington NC has a sports hall of fame with the guys we have had in the past, including MJ. All I am trying to say is nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina. Oh yeah James Taylor is from Carolina aswell!lol

Raceneck reality

Alright the race is over and my new driver(#8) finished in the top ten at Darlington this past weekend. I just got my degree and all of my family members from my dad's side were there to greet me at the race when I got there friday. I really have a great family that is one of a kind. They made me a banner with everybody's signature on it saying that they had nothing but love for me in so many words. That really ment a lot to me, and I had a blast at the race.It was my favorite race sense I have been going to the race about 5 years ago. This is a annual event that I really love to go too.We played poker and my dad won with amy's(my sister) money. It was cool and only 5 bucks to play, besides I won the race pool when I picked Greg Biffle out of the hat. I really was interested in the race this time, thats strange I guess. Before when I went to the race, my thing that I would do is just turn on the radio in the head set to listen to music and go to sleep until the race is over, but this race the head set came off.My head set that I get every year is a pain to listen too with the static, so I jam instead. I was dialed in like marivick on a bogey in top gun the whole race and was shocked when my best friend Jason Rhodes liked the race. I thought he would like the camping, not the race itself. That was his first race for him and he was hooked like a sheephead hooked around a fishing pole. Okay now here comes some shocking news, I know that I really like nascar and it will move up on my sports chart in the top 5. #1NFL #2NCCA basketball #3 MLB#4 NBA#5NASCAR#6 GOLF#7NCCA college football#8 maybe hockey(just the canes)#9 soccer(lol, noway it sucks). I have heard some members of the ESPN krunch time show say that they think nascar is not a sport. I used to believe that because you dont have to be a huge specimen of a man to drive in that sport or be able to run like the wind blows either. Sports are more than being gifted or being able to run fast or to be real strong. With any sporting event you need heart and concentration and a lot of practice to be real good at any sport. Have you ever been on the auto bond or even the New Jersey turn pike? You drive as fast as you can bumper to bumper 100 miles per hour for a good long drive . I cant imagine going 200 miles per hour bumper to bumper for 500 miles. That is a lot of concentration with a strong popeye like forearms that they have to drive with. I was stressed out after I got off of the turn pike, and could not imagine being on the race track for that long period of time. My hats off to the drivers of nascar. I will say this to people that say nascar is not a sport: If you don't belief me then look on the world wide leader in sports ESPN web page and see how much nascar is on that page , they have their own section just like, baseball, football, basketball. If Espn thinks its a sport and they are the world wide leader in sports, why should you think its not a sport. Sporting news has a section in their magazine aswell, and any other sports web site you go too will have nascar aswell on their site. Its still not my favorite, but it's a sport and I like it, and I want some more of it.lol

The Grumbling forcast for the Panthers!!

The panthers had a pretty good draft this weekend. They plugged every hole on thier roster. The first round they selected D. Williams (HB) to back up foster in the HB spot. He is compaired to Barry Sanders with his catlike turns and cuts. He has more cut than a sharp shinny blade. This guy can dance around defenders like bugs to a light. He is pretty fast , but only 5'9 with a Barry Sanders like build. He is said to look like Steve Smith with cool smile. They also drafted a CB in the second round with Richard Marshall. He is very fast and could start at free safty, but will likly back up C. Gamble. With the third pick Carolina had two picks from the Ricky Manning compensation pick and they selected a left tackle with R. Butler to back up Wharton on the left side of the line. He has great upside and a value pick at round 3. The other homly is (homly=to call a person or thing his homie or friend) J. Anderson (OLB) and that again was a value pick and it gave Carolina a lot of options at the OLB's spot with him again being a burner type receiver. J. Anderson is very quick for a OLB and ran a 40 in 4.45seconds. Thats pretty fast. I ran a 4.39 in high school belive it or not in my football days. Right now the only thing I run in the 40 is a 40oz of beer down into my belly. Anyways the later rounds they picked up a backup center, free safty,TE, DE in the last 4 rounds which are key backups to our team and core postion . The D looks better than last years D and bigger and biefer like kimbles and bits. They start Kemo and rucker, peppers along with Jenkins as there front four. There is none better than that in football. You think that all the Panthers have? Like Steve Austin says Hell no they got the hardiest hitting safty in the game with Mike Minter. They also have the top two CB's in the league and they both lead the NFC in INT's the last two years. So the secondary is solid man. What about linebacker's you say? They picked up K. Adams and he had 100+ tackles for the eagles last year. We have T. Davis who is very fast and verstile play maker. Did pretty okay last year, started rough, but finished strong. J. Anderson is pretty much a T. Davis Clone in the verstile department because of his quickness. Well you know Morgan he is a pro bowler middle linebacker.
Off to the O side now, they lacked O power when they faced the seahawks in the tittle game last year. The Hawks ran all over them and out gunned them for sure. The hawks lost Hutch this offseason and thier line is not as stout as the panthers line is. Wharton did good last year at the left tackle spot. We bruoght in Jeff Hartwig and was a better center than Jeff Mitchell is. We also have two probowlers in Whale and Gross. The line is loaded like a western omlette from denny's. We have a line and two dynamic backs in Foster, and the first round draft choice D. Williams. With Williams this gives us better insurance than metlife. Foster is a stud for sure but Williams makes me breath a liitle better. I said earlier that we were out gunned and we had a weak O last year. We have K. Johnson to take preasure off of Mighty mouse( S. Smith) and that should allow Jake to pop K. johnson over the middle. I dont see any holes at all for the panthers on thier roster. They have a top notch line with 2 good backs and two good receiver with a probowl QB, whats not to like about the O, they should be more productive this year.
(LT) #1 Wharton=84% #2 Butler=77% (LG)#1 Whale=95%#2 ? (C)#1Hartwig=93#2 ? (RG) #1Mathis=80%#2 ? (RT)#1 Gross=96% #2 ? (WR)#1 Smith=99% #2 Johnson=87%#3 Kolbert72%
(QB)#1 Delhomme=92% #2 Wienke=83%#3 Lefors=75%(TE)#1 Magnum=75% #2King75% (RB)#1 Foster=92% #2 Williams=86%
We should score more this year because have the best receiver in football last year in Steve Smith. Jake is good when the preassure is off of him. We have Fostor witch should take some preassurre off aswell he has great upside when on the field. He gets hurt alot so D. Williams should be our man. He lead college football in rushing yards all 4 years, and had 3rd most in college football behide R. Williams and B. Sandars. D. Williams had over 6,000 yards. The panthers usally takes a power back when picking a back to run straight ahead and pound yards and the clock away, but they took D. Williams instead. He will make you miss and can excell up the field at a high rate. He is compaired to Barry Sanders with his catlike moves I once said. Jake should throw more than 3500 passing yards with 30 TD's and 7INT's next year. Foster should rush for about 1000 ards or more.
The panthers should finish Top in the NfC South with a 12-5 record and then they should go on and win the big one: the super bowl . We should produce some pro bowlers this year too. Jake D., Steve S.,Gross,Whale,Peppers just to name a few. This will be a fun year and the game to watch will be the game against Dallas. The panthers lost last time to Dallas and we have K. Johnson to fued with, because he was cut by Dallas for T.Owens.It will be a fun year and tune in next time from the creative sports website ( Grumbles from the bird).

new coach's in new place's gives new look!!!

The new coach for the UNCW team is Benny Moss out of Charlotte. I heard he is a hard working fellow. We had Rondey Terry which was a great fit for us, but he bailed and stayed with Texas. The AD for UNCW is not the fan favorite, after losing 5 coaches that interview for the job before Moss. There is something up with this guy. The fans are mad for letting Brad go and the Past AD Peg go aswell. Mike crapco is turning this program around and I dont know if its good or bad yet. Time will tell on this matter. So far we lost recruits and Benny has no coaching staff to go with him. We are behind in recruiting and Moss needs to get his butt out there and get us some good kids for next year. He trained under Bobby lukes out of Charlotte and they have a pretty good program up there and that is one upside.

buy me some peanuts & crackerjacks(haha baseball is back)

Baseball is hear my friends and all my fansty teams are stacked to the brim. The cards are looking good and should bring back another good rotation again this year. They still have a bad to the bone middle lineup,1 threw5. The central should be in for a dog fight like in the past years. The cubs, stl and maybe the brewers are in the mix.

The birds are cherping and its that time of the year. We have red hats, redshirts and a belly full of beer. We come in big numbers with a splash of red. Yes we do get pissed when zambrono is throwing at edmonds head. The little bears are what they say they are, little cubs, with that being said , let me tell you there is no love. Like bears we like gold and shiney things. We been at the end of the road with no dimond rings or no bling bling. We get there because were dam good, yes we should have won it, yes we should. The numbers 2-5 hitter will get there this year with there big arms and their silver sluggin woods. At second base there is always someone new, but it does not matter who, just remember we have poo! He is tall brown and the next big thing, he is the reason STL has a team with a big dream. He got more homers than the simpsons, and more rbi's,runs and BA to go with them. When it is all said and done, the cards will be # one, they still have the best picthing and only allowed less than 3 runs. So mr dusty if you think sammy had loaded guns or if you think this next season will be fun ,then come on over you no coaching bome and get you some. There is one last thing that must be read, I die, I live, I love, I bleed Cardinal red, and there is nothing else that needs to be said!!

This fish has alot of meat on its bones, but the cardiac cats have some beef of there own!!

news: fox sports news.com
Like wendy's say's [were is the beef ] I will tell you were the beef is at, it is with the panthers front four. They got more meat than a 60 pound drum. You get the point I assume, the panthers will have the best defence in the league next year by far. They already have the best D line in football, with jenkins, kemo, rucker, lewis and thats it. No not really ,I forgot to mention the best D lineman to ever play the game( J.Peppers ). He is so versetile that he played basketball with the tarheels and was good. Any team in football will have trouble next year trying to run on the panthers. They are fast and strong at all of the D line postions. I have talked about that line enough, let me talk about the rest of the team. The secondary might again be the best in football. Lets recap, we have the best D line and secondary, yes thats what I said(mark my words says the bird). The last two years lucas and gamble have more interception than any tandom in football. Lucas found himself being a shutdown corner last year. Gamble has over 12 interceptions since he came in the league two years ago. Mike Minter is one of the hardest hitting strong safty's in the game. He gets 80 plus tackles a year. S. williams used to be a probowl type safty, and has put up great numbers. He has also been injured the last two years. Free safty and outside linebacker are the week spots in the D, just two spots that are week for the panthers. Colin Branch and Williams will be fighting for the safty spot and I think one of them will be fine a safty postion, because branch was soposed to be better than Mcree before he was injured. The last three spots are all linebacker spots, the rest of the D side is stacked. Morgan is locked if healthy as a pro bowl type linebacker, and Thomas Davis I think has the tools to be a very great linbacker, evan better than spoon was. He is a very fast and was a first round pick. That leaves one spot left and that is the other outside linebacker spot. Chris draft or a 1st or 2nd rounder will be used to fill this spot. Draft played pretty well last year for injured Dan Morgan and had some pretty good games, he will do alright and can start right off for the panthers. There is 5 or 6 linebackers coming out in the NFL draft that the panthers could get and start out at a high level. They will not get AJ hawk or Chad Greenwell, but there is 5 others that are 4 stars out of 5stars and could start out at a high level or excell quickly like T. Davis has done. Demero Ryans, Bobby Carpenter, Enrie Simms, Thomas Howard,Manny Lawson all are very good outside linebackers and could start for many NFL teams and be pretty good. The panthers will try to address this in the first or second round in the draft. Finally the defence will look top notch next year and take all the pressure off of the offence, so we can get back to the superbowl.
The defence was not the problem last year though, it was Jake throwing INT's at the wrong time. He still is a good QB and he needed a durable running back, along with a another WR to help S. Smith out. Let me add to that a week TE and week OT spot last year, and if we had those spots filled we could have been better. We needed to run more to take preasure off of Jake Delhome. We could have used the play action pass to set up alot of TD's passes ,but did not have a TE to throw too, much less a okay line. I think this year, They will draft a TE in the 1st or 2nd round, so it will be a TE or OLB; mark my words says the bird. L. Davis and L. pope will be gone in the top 25 of the draft. I think there is 2 or 3 heart stoppen TE in this years draft after Pope and Davis is gone. The next best in order are M. Lewis, J. Klopfenstein, D. Bryd and we could pick one of those guys and start as a impact player. They will then pick a WR or RB or a lineman in the next 3 to 5 rounds. They could pick up a okay backup back at the 4 or 5 pick. They could use a OT and will pick one up in the 3rd to 5th round. There is a alot of WR that is 3 stars out of 5 left. You could pick one up 3rd threw 7th because there is 23 WR with 3 stars and only two WR with just 4 stars that will be left to pick from. Caroilna picks right they will be in the mix of things next year. They stacked up and packed up with beef last year in the draft. They are built ford tough. They got more beef than TO and Any Ried and they hate each other. My point is carolina is bad to the bone and other teams better wacth out for that Beefy line and those throws to Steve Smith from Jake Delohome this year, he should have help and be dangerous if he gets the right tools. The cats will be unlished and the panthers will have a good year in 2006-2007 if they plugg those holes. If the cats do win it all next year then I will give that big fish posted on the top of the pargraph to the cats to eat for a snack!!! lol

Welcome to the raceneck convention!http://espn.com

It is getting close race time and I am ready to roll and rock, along with rockin and rollen. Hey nacecar not my favorite, but it is some dam good tail gating. I love basketball, baseball, and football. I have have been to all of those events. Football is my favorite to go to and dont really like wacthing the race except the last few laps, but before and after the race is the cats meow( meaning its the bomb man!). The one thing thats keeps bringing me back is the all the nice people and the kick ass camping that we do. This is not regular camping , this is raceneck style. I am not a redneck by any means, but I grew up in the country and most of them are some very nice people. When you think of camping you think of tints and camp fire's, and crapping in the woods. No not this camping, we have toilets, shower, stove,AC,and just about every other thing you would need, like TV, playstaion. My whole family is going, and we will have 3 or 4 camp sites. When I say the whole family, I mean about 20 or more folks. The one thing that I like at the race is everybody has a beer in there hand and raising hell. There is some, just like all groups that get out of hand, but not most. Most people will give you anything you need, a beer, food, anything. This is me and my dad at Darlington race way, We go every year and its a blast. I think I will pull for Kurt Busch this year I am not sure, but this just in I lost a bet to my wife and I now pull for #8. It makes it a little bit funner if you pick a driver a play the raceneck game like thats my fav driver game. You will hear the whole time while there raceneck fans back and forth fighting over thier driving. I like rusty because I am a saintluis cards fan and he is from that city and he likes the cards. This year he is goon and I will pick his replacement Kurt Busch Iam thinking ,but #8 has to be #1. I got to have some things in common we the racenecks witch at some point in time I may evolve into one. I will be there for two days, and there is no real sports around, just like science I have to adapt to my enviroment. hey all I want to do is race daddy!!! lol PS: There is David and Kerry in the background my aunt and uncle.

Panthers player rating so far is what?

This is a rated sytem for the players in next year starting lineup. Each player has been rated from Madden2006 game and their scale rated from 1 to a 100 and last years football stats for each player on that team. ( stats include all major catogories)

On the D side we have 1-(SS) M. Minter=89% 2-(FS) C Branch=74% 3-(LCB) K.Lucas =94% 4-(RCB) C.Gamble=88% 5-(LOLB) T.Davis= 85% 6-(ROLB) C.Draft or ? =83% 7- (ILB) D. Morgan = 93% 8- (LE) J.Peppers=99% 9- (RE) M.Rucker= 91% 10- ( DT) Kemo= 89% 11- (DT) K.Jenkins =95% the total average for the D side is 89.09%.

On the O side we have 1- (LT) T. Wharton or ? = 84% 2- (RG) M.Whale= 95% 3- (C) J. Hartwig= 91% 4- (LG) E. Mathis or ? = 76% 5- (RT) J .Gross= 94% 6- ( TE) K. Magnum or ?=76% 7- (WR) K. Kolbert=75% or ?8- (WR) S.Smith= 97% 9- (QB) J. Delhome= 88% 10- (FB) B.Hoover= 89% 11- (RB) D. Foster= 94% and the average for the O side is 87.1%.

Maybe in the draft they will draft one of those good TE'S and bring the average up. They don't look so bad on paper and they still have moves to make , along with the NFL draft coming up. The first pick should be a big TE. The second pick should be linebacker or a lineman. The third or fourth will be safty' s or what every is good and still left on the board.* I did not count on S williams and D lewis either*.Mostly after that is plugging back ups in and filling out thier roster. So far so good for the panthers. T. Davis helps out alot with Spoon being gone and Hartwig, and Kemo are upgrades to what we had in those postions before we cut the players for salary cap reasons and thier age , we got younger and healthier. The O line is not bad and we need a #2 WR very bad. Getting a TE in the first round could give Jake another weapon, because there is a thin crop of WR in the free agent pool. I cant wait to se what Jerry Rhichardson is going to do next, but I like what has happen so far.

Rumors from the Birds nest

I saw on 2 sites one being( stltoday, prosportsdaily)that the STL cards were trying to get Meguel Cabrera in a trade. That would put us at another level. A. Reyes our top rookie will be in the center of the deal, along with a outfeilder and some more prospects. Reyes is said to be a front runner in most pitching rotations. The marlins are still trying to unload D. Willis and Meguel, because both are going to be big contracts next year. The cards have some extra pieces that they can deal. What every they got to do I would trade for him in a heartbeat. I would not trade, Puljus, rolen, mulder, carp, but the rest can go. Look at this lineup 1-Ecto*SS 2- Spivey*2nd 3-Poo*1st 4-Edmonds*CF 5- Rolen 6- Cabrera 7- Juan E. 8-Y. Molina*C 9 picther. That will be the best 3-7 in baseball. That team will win a title for sure if they get him. Come on(broke) back Walt spend some money and trade.

I hope bracketology does not plant a bad seed!!

The UNCW seahawks seed is heard to be anywere from 8 to 11 seed. I hope they get a 11 seed insteed of a 8 seed wicth is lower. The 8 seed if wins plays the #1 seed next game if they win. The 11 seed plays the 6 seed and then if they win play a higher seed than a #1 seed in the next round. UNCW is good enough to win who every they play in the first round I believe, but not good enough to beat a #1 seed with out uncle mo on its side. They win 2 games in the tourney, they might spark for more wins. They will win 1 game for sure, mark my words says the bird.

I Heard of TJ hooker, TJ cutini, but TJ carter(MVP)

Please Mr. committee Man give me a vote. The UNCW seahawks are for real. They got more bounce to the ounce, More cheese than a big mac and they have more heart than a valinetine day card. Give me some love baby! The hawks just flew from their nest. They better watch dancing with the stars and practice, because they are dancing my friend. They have won two tourney's this year and won a share of first place in thier divsion. Let me add they also got a team high in 25 wins to put up on a petastool. TJ is a play maker and has a iron will to win. They make the original hoosiers look bad. They are what makes College basketball what is college basketball(hard work and team play). They work together as a team, and help each other get better as the game goes on. UNCW is a very smart team and disaplined aswell. First of all they have a point gaurd name John Goldsberry to run the show, and plays D like none other. He is the brains and backbone of UNCW said by coach Brad B. They have hendley wicth has very good hands for a big man. He can rebound too, and pick and roll with john to score his much needed points. The whole team works well together,so I would be writing a whole lot of pages if I had to describe each of the good players on this team. Thier is atleast 8 to 10 good players on that sqaud. They are a deep team that has been recruited from all over the country, just like the big prgrams, but not the all americans. I hope Brad stays as a coach, because he has done a great job, evan better than wainwright. He preaches D and teamwork, and just like all great coachs do Brad gets all the hustle from each player. He makes them better than what they really are. He gets the max potential out of his players. Brad also played under Bobby Night, and has a great back ground. If Brad leaves then Billy Dolon would be a great fit for that progam. He has wainwright, and Brad on his resume, we should be fine. Please brad sign that 5 year deal and take us beyond gonzaga's Mid major program. It should be a great season for the CAA as for the years to come will be enlighten indeed. Saying that I mean the seahawks will be in the top 25 next week going into the big dance, and they will get a good seed I hope. The CAA was strong this year and were in the top 6 in league standings. They are a top 6 league team, and we produced some good talent from the CAA aswell. Borea from North Eastern, and alot of others that will play pro basketball when they leave thier schools. The Hawks will win the first game of the NCCA tourney and it does not matter who they play. peace out!!

I hope the darn dookies get dumped in the dumpster!

Hey the Duke blue delvils lost to FSU, why can't UNC beat them aswell. Did anyone see at the top of the page, it said news and thoughts of UNC,etc. Saying that I hope the harty heels kicks Duke butt. The heels have been on a tear and kicking everyone to the curb. That 45 point blowout was amazing, as a matter of fact the last 3 games have been blowouts. Yes duke is the better team, but is capable of losing to the heels. Last time they played it was down to the last minute. The heels did come back twice to end up losing. I think the way the heels are playing as of right now, they are a good team, and can be beat,or they can beat pretty much anyone at the right time. They were not evan soposed to be this far with all those freshman. They keep plugging away and destoying everything in its path like a twister from katrina. They are second in the ACC and have beaten some good teams, along with a 20 win season I might add. This team is hardnose, hardnox, and just plain out nasty, and full of energy. ( they got more energy than Duke power)They come to play every game, and have completed some big tasks this year. The duke game should come down to the wire again. Unc-73-72-Duke

(Broke)$$$ back panthers have high mountain to climb

The panthers I guess are rebuilding this next season. Why not, they have one of the hardest schedule next year anyways. They have lost key pieces already and about to lose wetherspoon our best LB besides Morgan. We lost a DT, FS,OLB on defense. We will lose our starting center and probably T. Reyes aswell. We have no #2 guy for WR or a TE. We should rebuild this year and recoop the following year that is if we still have a cap in place. It is not looking to good for the Cats. I talked with Mick Mickson the voice of the Carolina Panthers yesterday on the air, and he seemed to think that the Panthers were getting younger and that the cap was helping that issue. 2 hours later the Charlotte Observer posted they cut Buckner, Smart, Davis. They are still around 3 mill over the cap limit. Thats why I think Mitchell is gone and some others. We are going to be a deferrent team next year thats for sure. If it is for the better I do not have an idea, but I thought last year we needed only a few pieces like a WR and LT and that would have made us a elite team. I know DT Jordan Carstein and Moorehead did pretty well last year so maybe it wont be that bad. I dont have a idea who is going to replace spoon with draft and short being the next ones to be cut I heard. Maybe Seward will be good! He had glimpses of talent last year when he played. The FS spot can easliy be replaced by T. Davis. I have not a clue what the offence will do. They should draft a lineman that can play and hopefully a playmaker too. We should be younger next year, and maybe that is a good thing. The cap sure did get the ball rollen though, with that fact of most of the verterns are cut loose. We are now the cardiac kittens not the cardiac cats.

Foster was the right choice$$$$

Foster Should be the choice that they should make. By signing Foster, they have a top ten back and it will be alot better next year instead of Shelton, goings. Fox likes his running game, so why not sign a guy with great upside. Yes he gets injured, but so does every back in the NFL when you get hit by 300 pond limeman all year long. You have a guy that wants to stay hear, and he knows the play books already. We are in trouble if they dont sign Will(OLB) back. He is a big cat and needs to be part of this D. We need cap money and it will be not fun this off season if we dont get good players in key postions. We need a OLB, so franchise Will and sign Rucker, and Mitchell back. I would like to see Mcree come back for the right price. We need to keep what we have, because it was good enough to go to the playoffs. If we just sign our guys back we will be in great shape. Let the NFL draft do all the work for us. We needed a another threat besides Smith and a lefttackle, but first we must have our foundation built first and thats to sign our free agents back. Draft a TE and tackle in the first two rounds and that should be a big upgrade over last year. Thier is some good TE'S in this years draft, so why not get another weapon for Jake. He can start right away I assume. We also need a tackle because I heard that wharton, or Mathis is moving to the guard spot. Wharton is alright, but a big first round lineman will do wonders for this team. It will make it into one of the best lines in football if we draft a lineman fisrt round that is, because he can start right away and be a big impact. So keep foster give him a line so he wont get injured as much and he will be as good as the rest of the runningback crop that is out there. The reason why they do so well is you look at edge and Shaun, they both have big lines. Look at dallas or denver, I could go on and on, but with foster and a good line the Offence will be better. If they still have a good D come preseason then I assume the panthers will do pretty well next year. By the way the have a very hard schedule next year, so if they make it into the playoffs next year then they will have to earn it. Pittsburg had a hard road ahead of them last year and they won it all. Seahawks had a cake walk last year and we see who won the Superbowl, so maybe it will make the panthers tough enough to win it all.

grumbles from the bird

grumbles from the bird

I've heard of 50 cent, now let me get my two cents about those tarheels!!!!

The tarheels rank #21 and has a 8-4 conference record. Who would have thought of Roy coming to Caroilna and winning the big one and losing his whole team mostly to the nba draft and other league's. They were not soposed to be in the mix of things. Guess what ,they are and Tyler is the man in the paint, we all know that to be true. He is tough and rough and he will blow your house down ,because he will fight you on every touch of the ball. The man that I like is yeah! Bobby Fasor he will be good at the piontguard postion, but mostly its R. Terry because he is the man that has great upside. Let me explain ,most teams have two maybe three stars on thier teams in the ACC if they are good that is. UNC some how got two from Tlyer and Terry in the fact thier good, dam good, both will be all ACC. I think you might not like terry as a star, because he did not start on in his first two years as a Tarheel. Man let me tell you, he has come into his own of lately. He is 6 foot 8 and and can play SF or SG, along with snaching rebounds from bigger players. He has a average of 14.4 points a game along with 6.0 rebounds and is capable of hitting some big shots ,like in last wake game we played. Frasor can play point and Noel Noel can do anything he wants when he wants to play. Noel can pass play D and shoot from the outside from time to time. Bottom line is this team will go beyond and above what people thought they were going to do. They will go to the sweet 16 and get put out by a buzzer beater. Next year watch out because The Tarheels will win another title with that strong class they have coming next year.

The Birds word on those STLcardinals

I heard that Ric Ankeil did pretty well last year in the minors. He hit 21 homers and 75 rbi's in 85 games. That is not to bad, and will move up to classAAA, I think he was in classAA last season. We already have a slu of OF anyways. We have Larry Bigbie, So Taguchi, and John Rodriguez fighting for a spot on the main roster. We will get pretty okay prodution from Edmonds, and Juan on the RF and CF spots. If Juan can give us 20 homers and 80 rbi's that will be enough. Edmonds needs to bumb up his Offence to maybe 30 homers and 100 rbi's. I personaly think JRod will get the start, he has been hot this offseason in other leagues. Dont know what spivey will bring at second, maybe a little pop will be nice, 13+ homers, .280 BA. You know what you will get from Ecto, its pure energy like spock. He will match last years #. Molina he does enough on defence, were it does not matter what he hits, but he is the better hitter out of all his brothers. Rolen stay heathy, and puljus, just kep smackem. The final thought on Ofence is they got no production from larry and mostly Reggie because they were hurt off and on all last year. We have had deferent 2nd baseman each time in the last three years, and all have produced. My piont is we should be just as good as last year team, but for cheaper.
Matt morris was on a steady decline but still produced, he will be replaced from the 4 spot by Jason M. , he is not bad for a 4 spot. We bring back Carp, Mulder, Suppon, and they have won their share of games, and that is a playoff squad with a 123 punch . Suppon is a cool #3 starter with 16 wins in two years, 15 for three years in his career.Aj Burnett has not evan won more than 12 and he was the talk of the off season, yet we sined Suppon to anther deal. Everybody says we the cardinals have not done good this offseason, and will not be back. I got news for you ,we spent our money well. We got bargains at each deal we made. We also left room for a trade in the middle of the season with Jason M, Reyes, and 3 okay out feilders. We also got Ponson for cheap, and if he produces, then Walt will be none the smarter. Reyes the 24 year old kid that pitched very fine last year for the short time he played is soposed to be better than morris was when he was scouted and him or wainwright will get a shot at the 5 spot. The bullpen will be fine, with Izzo and looper we should be fine. The only person that we should not let go from the bullpen was JuanTaverez, he had some stuff. King on the other had was on decline and could be replaced easy by a number of people. The cards will be fine next year, if their not by allstar break or trading deadline thier is alot of players that are close to the end of thie contract and could be traded for next year.example's are Edmonds, Suppon, Mulder, Jason M, Jason I, or Reyes if not panned out, but i doubt they trade him, Wainwgight could go though and the right deal. We will see shortly, cause the Astros and the cubs are not that good.

things in sports that make me grumble

They were talking about this on the mike and mike show. I cant get them on the phone and talk about this , but i will tell who every wants to read this. The # 1 thing that totally pisses me off is that espn insider . You log on espn and try to get good info, and the good stuff is on insder and you have to pay a fee every month. That is so stupid because i can get the same info they get for free from the same sights most of the time. Its a rip off and thier espn web page is always slow. The #2 thing that gets me going is the Heard on that radio show. He is so stupid its unreal. All he talks is football with a one sided view on everything 90% of the time. He has nothing on crunch time. I like tony when he was on the radio, and I like mike and mike, the rest evan Dan sucks most of the time, cause he repeats mike and mike show on the same topics, he is also the A white crusty, bad hair honkey that every tried to get street credit. The thing is with crunch time you get defferent views and they have never once been angry towards people calling that make no sence when they talk, thier nice to people, were as dan is GOD as he thinks. I have listen for awhile and they had plenty of chances to rip people but they dont most of the time on crunch time. Next I hate college football without a playoff , enough said. I hate big east basketball thinking thier better than the ACC. I also hate Dallas Cowboys, TO ,Duke, State, lakers, yankees, boston, cubs ,and that racist Barry Bonds. He complains about anything. I am making anybody mad yet! I also hate the fact UNCW got screwed last year in a NIT bearth. They took the NY market with drexel, hostfra. Thats about it if anybody whats to respond ( damit do so)

lets get creative with next years panthers roster!

Lets get a little creative with the panthers roster for next year, because they will have to be, because of their cap problems. Lets start off with the D side and say that the D line will be just as good if healthy, so draft for protection in the later rounds of the draft and everything will be peachy in that area. With that being said, the next thing would be too, please sign Will Wetherspoon back. The panthers have very fast linebackers with morgan and Will. Out of 100 in ranked speed the rank for the speed of the olbs would be 85 or so and that is pretty good. That means they can drop back or rush, and when you have that, it is very dangerous and versitile , thats why they pounded the falcons this year. They still need another OLB and try to find away to keep Will. They franchise tag Will and put Chris Draft in at the OLB spot. He is fast and needs to play, they already have a back up at ILB with seward or what every his name is that they drafted last year. We already have two of the best CB in Gamble,Lucas, so we are weak at FS. Sign Mcree back for a small amounnt or just put T Davis at FS spot , he has alot of games under his belt now that the season has ended and like draft he needs to play.
Now with the offence: I herd rumors of K robenson being linked to the carolinas and big cap # for the vikings. He will be a good fit if for the right price, or J Jerviuos from seattle for a good price of course. That will be okay for the WR spot but before all of that you build teams with the foundation coming first just like a house because you need the suport right!. That means we should bulk up the O line before we do anything, That is easy just draft a O linman in round one and draft a TE in round two since their is a good crop of TE in this years draft you should be able to pick up the Notredam TE that is pretty dang good. If they get a OT , then that would give us a big LT,WhaleLG,whartonRG, grossRT and hopefully mitchell as our starting O line. Anybody we get to run will be productive with that line. Dont draft a running back, either get TJ duckett or trade for R williams which i have heard rumors on both about them coming. Thier is also a lot of HB in the free agent market, if we redo peppers and some others ,and dont sign S davis , maybe we could get won of those big dogs like Edge or Shaun, but I dont think so. If we get Foster at a good deal, maybe as a last resort that will be cool, but i like the HBs in this years free agent list. What do you think they will do?

UNCW should be ranked at end of season?

UNCW has 19 wins and a chance to win more. They have a hard game wednesday night in trask. If they beat (hog straw) and then VCU , should they be ranked in the top 25. My piont is they have won the BCS tourney this year and ranked 43rd in rpi rankings as of last week. They beat George Mason and Mason has beaten them, so their resume is pretty dam good this year. George Mason got two votes in last week top 25 poll. Uncw is just as good as they are, if not better, because of thier great coaching and strong defence. If the UNCW seahawks win out the regular season will they be ranked?
